Surroundings

 

Follonica is centrally placed inside the Gulf of that name, just in front of Elba's Island.
Easy to reach, in a short time, several Tuscan-Maremma's artistic towns and places of significant meaning, as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Perugia, Assisi.
Elba's Island is only 45 km distant, and you can reach it by ferry-boat, which also can carry cars and/or motorbikes.
