Val di Cornia
For a wonderful relaxing holiday with your family, the sea of Tuscany
The Environment
The Val di Cornia, the last segment of the Southern Coast of the Etruscans and the Province of Livorno, is a strip of land located opposite the Island of Elba, behind the town of Piombino, which extends towards the promontory and to the sea, as if to seek the ancient conjunction with the Tuscan Archipelago.
This land, largely removed from the ponds and swamps that characterized its coasts until the last century, is today an extraordinary wealth of cultural and environmental evidence, that make this area an attractive alternative to traditional tourist destinations: a place where nature and archeology will let you discover the charm of the "Toscana Minor." A Tuscany still not very well known but very appreciated by tourists who have already discovered it.
